Work Environment

As an onsite facility, our outpatient office fosters a dynamic, fast-paced atmosphere tailored to meet the needs of our diverse patient population. You will work alongside a small team consisting of two other physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), creating an intimate setting where everyone contributes to patient success. The clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art therapy equipment and technology, including EMR Software like WebPT, which streamlines patient documentation and progress tracking.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' movement capabilities, needs, and treatment goals.
• Manage a patient caseload of approximately one individual per hour, allowing for personalized attention and care.
• Create and implement individualized care plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient's situation.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques to improve patients' strength and flexibility.
• Design and oversee customized fitness and wellness programs, promoting independence and healthy lifestyles.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes, track patient progress, and adjust the treatment plan as needed to optimize results.
• Ensure clear communication with patients and their families regarding treatment plans and progress.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all patient interactions and treatments provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on orthopedic patients who are recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal issues. You will be instrumental in providing care that leads to improved movement patterns, effective pain management, and enhanced quality of life. By reducing reliance on medications and exploring alternatives to surgical interventions, you will significantly impact our patients' recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist is essential.
• Must maintain a clean professional record with no outstanding disciplinary actions.
• Strong manual therapy skills with the ability to apply various treatment modalities.
• Competent in developing and implementing effective exercise protocols relevant to orthopedic rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in utilizing EMR systems, particularly WebPT for efficient patient documentation and care management.
• Previous experience in developing successful fitness programs designed to aid recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

We are offering a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
