Willow Bridge Physical Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our compassionate team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this role, you will be instrumental in helping patients restore their mobility and enhance their overall functionality through tailored therapeutic interventions. As a Physical Therapist in our practice, you will leverage your skills to develop individual care plans aimed at improving patients' quality of life.

Willow Bridge Physical Therapy Services is a privately-owned orthopedic outpatient practice located in a modern 5,000 square foot facility specializing in sports medicine. Committed to delivering exemplary care, our team consists of two experienced physical therapists and a licensed physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our practice is patient-centered and predominantly serves those with private medical insurance. Work Environment

This full-time position requires on-site work within our state-of-the-art outpatient office in Virginia Beach. The practice features advanced rehabilitative equipment and a dynamic environment designed to foster healing and recovery. Our hours of operation run Monday through Friday, with flexible scheduling available from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, which allows you to maintain a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' objectives and individualized needs.
• Manage caseloads efficiently, treating one patient per hour to ensure high-quality care.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques to enhance mobility and reduce pain, enabling patients to avoid reliance on medication.
• Design bespoke exercise regimens and wellness programs tailored to each patient's goals.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and interdisciplinary patient care.
• Document patient interactions and treatment outcomes meticulously using WebPT EMR Software.
• Motivate and educate patients about their treatment processes to cultivate a proactive approach to their rehabilitation.
• Continuously evaluate treatment progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
• Attend team meetings and participate in training sessions to enhance professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will focus primarily on orthopedic patients recovering from injuries or surgeries who seek to regain their mobility. They may range from athletes needing rehabilitation for sports injuries to older adults recovering from complex surgeries. Your role will significantly contribute to improving their quality of life by empowering them to overcome physical limitations.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in Virginia.
• Maintain a professional record clear of disciplinary actions.
• Strong skills in manual therapy techniques are essential.
• Proficiency in creating and executing effective exercise protocols for diverse patient needs.
• Experience using WebPT EMR Software is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Experience working with a diverse patient population and knowledge of various orthopedic injuries and conditions.
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster trusting relationships with patients and collaborate effectively with team members.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package. This includes health insurance, retirement savings options, and paid time off, creating a supportive environment for our employees.
