Work Environment

This full-time position offers an onsite work setting with a focus on home care, allowing you to directly interact with patients in the comfort of their own environments. Our approach is tailored to accommodate individual patient needs, fostering a sense of trust and connection that promotes optimal recovery. The regular working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Azure Physical Therapy, you will:

• Evaluate and assess patients in their homes to develop holistic treatment plans tailored to individual recovery goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise regimens, hands-on therapy, and specialized equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Monitor patient progress diligently, documenting all treatments, responses, and adjustments to care plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes and rehabilitation aids, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of therapy plans.
• Regularly reassess therapeutic outcomes and modify treatment strategies to remain aligned with patient needs and recovery milestones.
• Stay current by attending workshops, engaging with professional communities, and exploring new physical therapy methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be individuals recovering from various conditions, including post-surgical patients, those recuperating from injuries, and individuals managing chronic health issues. Our patient population is diverse, spanning different ages and backgrounds, all requiring individualized treatment approaches to regain their functional abilities and improve their overall well-being.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy to practice in Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, preferably in direct patient care.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage patient schedules, documentation, and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

While prior experience in home care is a plus, it is not mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to ongoing professional development. Strong computer skills, particularly in word processing and electronic health records, are also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a competitive benefits package that includes:
