Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to assist clients in achieving relaxation and emotional balance.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify the unique stressors and mental health goals of each client, tailoring mindfulness practices to meet their specific needs.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation practices, and breathing techniques aimed at enhancing self-awareness and emotional regulation.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops on topics such as stress management, resilience-building strategies, and effective coping methods.

• Incorporate mindfulness practices into one-on-one therapy sessions, addressing specific mental health issues while supporting overall personal growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with a diverse outpatient population facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. Your expertise in mindfulness will be invaluable in helping clients to cultivate resilience and learn effective coping strategies that promote long-term well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Maryland.

• Demonstrated proficiency in integrating mindfulness practices into therapeutic interventions.
