Work Environment\n

As a part of our telehealth team, you will benefit from a flexible working environment that allows you to engage with clients from the comfort of your home. This remote setting enhances your ability to reach patients from various backgrounds and locations, ensuring that you can provide care where it is most needed. Your daily schedule will primarily be Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate the unique needs of your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and guide treatment planning.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery tailored to each patient’s strengths and needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively treat patients.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma and develop coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for all patients.

• Respond to crisis situations by providing immediate support and intervention during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, available coping mechanisms, and community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research, best practices in trauma therapy, and advancements in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will specifically focus on clients who are dealing with the aftermath of various forms of trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and related mental health issues. Your expertise will help vulnerable populations regain control and foster resilience, aiding them in their journey towards emotional stability and personal empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting.
\n
• Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Proficiency in employing trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, paired with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to care.

• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress scenarios.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technological tools.
\n
• Strong ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience specifically delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions will be prioritized. A strong foundation in evidence-based practices, along with additional certifications in trauma-informed care methodologies, would be advantageous and further enhance your application.
