Technical Support Engineer - SPS

Job Summary Under moderate supervision, responsible for providing customer service, troubleshooting moderately complex technical issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of products and services. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide technical support to customers, both remotely and on-site, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of technical issues Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of equipment and software Develop and deliver technical training to customers and internal teams, assisting in their understanding and effective usage of our products and services Assist in testing and evaluating new hardware and software releases, providing feedback to the development team for continuous improvement. Foster a culture that emphasizes safety and quality Take proactive measures to identify and address potential risks, while also integrating corporate social responsibility (CSR) principles into daily operations and decision-making processes Provide prompt and accurate updates to clients regarding the status of their inquiries Conduct data analysis on equipment to monitor the performance of tools Provide input on technical solutions and knowledge Supervisory and/or Leadership Responsibilities None. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Proven experience in technical equipment support, maintenance, or a similar role. Intermediate knowledge of equipment troubleshooting techniques and methodologies Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions Strong customer service mindset, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers and team members Ability to adhere to processes, policies, and procedures Ability to prioritize safety and quality in all aspects of work Ability to explain technical concepts to customers clearly and concisely Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records, document service activities, and prepare reports Minimum Qualifications - (Education, Experience, Certification, & Licensure) Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 8 years of relevant experience Minimum of 2 years of experience Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
