Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of adult and geriatric patients, taking detailed health histories and performing physical examinations to facilitate accurate diagnosis.
• Create and implement tailored care plans that reflect individual patient needs, integrating the latest clinical findings and best practices in cardiology.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and methodologies to perform necessary procedures, including EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests as within your scope of practice.
• Prescribe medications responsibly while monitoring their effects and adjusting treatment plans to enhance patient outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously in electronic health records, ensuring timely and precise updates for continuity of care.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, contributing to discussions on patient care strategies and community health initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on adult and geriatric patients who present with a range of cardiological concerns, from routine check-ups to complex cardiac conditions. Your expertise will enable early intervention and management of chronic conditions such as hypertension, congestive heart failure, and arrhythmias, significantly improving the quality of life for our patients and enhancing their long-term health outcomes.

Qualifications

• A valid and active Nurse Practitioner license.
• A Master’s Degree in Nursing with a specialization in cardiology or adult gerontology.
• At least two years of clinical experience, particularly in a cardiology or similar setting.
• Strong competencies in patient assessment, diagnosis, and management of cardiac conditions.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, essential for effective patient and team interactions.
• Ability to work autonomously while demonstrating high standards of professionalism and patient confidentiality.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 150,000 – 160,000 annually , commensurate with qualifications and experience.
