Private Equity M&A - Senior Associate (New York)

Goodwin seeks a highly qualified associate with 5-6 years of experience to join our Private Equity group.

Candidate must have experience both working in teams and independently managing components of transactions, with specific experience in a broad range of corporate and transactional matters including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged recapitalizations, growth equity and venture capital transactions, exits, and equity compensation.

Candidate must be proactive, possess strong business sense, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships.

Applicants should have outstanding academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Relevant bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) and a deal sheet are required.
