Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patient mobility and physical function to establish individualized treatment plans.
• Administer evidence-based physical therapy techniques to enhance patient outcomes, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and neuromuscular re-education.
• Maintain an optimal patient load that allows for dedicated and personalized interaction with each patient.
• Utilize EMR software, specifically Web PT, to document patient information and progress efficiently.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as orthopedic surgeons and fitness specialists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
• Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and adjust interventions as needed to improve patient motivation and outcomes.
• Promote and educate patients on maintaining an active lifestyle, emphasizing enhancements in strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Document all therapy interventions and patient interactions consistently to ensure a comprehensive care continuum.

The primary clientele includes patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
• Possess an active and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, free from any history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of manual therapy techniques and their applications in a clinical setting.
• Proficient in developing and implementing successful therapeutic exercise programs tailored to individual needs.
• Experienced in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, to maintain efficient documentation.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of contemporary physical therapy practices and research-supported techniques.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an outpatient rehabilitation setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with sports rehabilitation and post-operative care protocols.
• Experience in a collaborative team-oriented healthcare environment.

Compensation and Benefits
