Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a dedicated caseload of clients by establishing rapport and fostering positive relationships while adhering to high professional and ethical standards.

• Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess their progress, discuss emotional stability, and plan for discharge as needed.
\n
• Create, implement, and diligently monitor individualized, person-centered treatment plans that align with the clients' unique needs and goals.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation including progress notes, treatment updates, and client histories to ensure continuity of care.
\n
• Conduct intake assessments to evaluate new clients and determine appropriate service levels.
\n
• Perform individual therapy sessions, focusing on providing effective psychotherapy targeted to clients' individual challenges.

• Engage in regular supervision sessions to reflect on practice, receive feedback, and pursue professional development.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

• Foster a growth mindset by continuously seeking opportunities for learning and self-improvement within our practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves a diverse outpatient population, comprising individuals and families facing various mental health challenges. The LPC will utilize their expertise to support clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional or behavioral disorders. By tailoring approaches to each client's experiences and cultural background, the counselor will help clients navigate their mental health journey, thereby enhancing community well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification.

• A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience within a clinical outpatient setting is essential.

• Proficient in using software and technology relevant for documentation and client management, such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and of course, our own RMS systems.
