Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Gotham Enterprises, your primary responsibilities will encompass:

• Conducting in-depth assessments and evaluations to accurately identify clients' mental health needs and collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans that align with their goals.

• Providing evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals, groups, and families. You will employ a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness techniques, tailored to the unique circumstances of each client.

• Collaborating closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care. You will participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to share insights and strategies for client success.

• Delivering timely crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute distress or emergency situations, employing your training to guide them through periods of crisis with expertise and compassion.

• Engaging in community outreach programs and educational initiatives to promote mental health awareness, enhance community involvement, and reduce stigma associated with mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients served by our organization represent a broad spectrum of backgrounds, including individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic groups. As a mental health counselor, you will work with children, adolescents, and adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

A successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• A current independent and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A completed bachelor’s degree in a relevant field to build a strong foundational knowledge in mental health principles, although a master’s degree or doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, providing therapy services in a community-based or outpatient environment. Compensation and Benefits\n
