Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Lead engaging and supportive group sessions that encourage clients, aged 18 to 30, to connect, share experiences, and learn from each other.

• Providing Individual Therapy: Offer personalized counseling to help clients explore their thoughts and feelings, develop coping strategies, and create actionable plans for improvement.

• Development of Treatment Plans: Work collaboratively with clients to design individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that reflect their unique needs and preferences.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilize various assessment tools and feedback mechanisms to track client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment.

• Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Teams: Regularly communicate and consult with colleagues across disciplines to ensure coordination of care and optimal outcomes for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are experiencing mental health or mood disorders. The outpatient treatment center is dedicated to providing evidence-based and holistic care through innovative PHP programming, making sure our clients receive tailored support that addresses their specific challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Licensed Clinician: Must possess a valid LPCC license in California.

• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience working in mental health treatment settings (outpatient or residential).

• Collaborative Team Player: Strong ability to work within a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for clients.

• Clinical Proficiency: Demonstrated skills in motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy, along with thorough documentation practices.

Preferred Experience\n

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in PHP programming, youth and family therapy, and those who have worked closely with diverse client populations. An understanding of trauma-informed care practices will be an asset in this role, enhancing the professional’s ability to connect with clients meaningfully.

Compensation and Benefits\n
