Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducts individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy and other evidence-based practices, tailoring approaches to diverse client needs.

• Responds swiftly to crisis situations, skillfully assessing patient needs and coordinating immediate interventions and resources.
\n
• Provides education and training on clinical topics to team members and supports staff development by facilitating workshops and discussions.
\n
• Performs comprehensive intake assessments, including Integrated Biopsychosocial assessments, to evaluate initial client treatment needs and formulate appropriate diagnoses.

• Cultivates treatment plans in alignment with diagnostic standards from the DSM V, incorporating best-practice guidelines for effective therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Facilitates the application of various therapeutic models like behavior modification and brief therapy to promote positive client outcomes during sessions.
\n
• Offers clinical supervision and mentorship to therapy assistants and mental health workers, enhancing the quality of care delivered to clients.

• Collaborates with community professionals to develop cross-system plans, ensuring holistic treatment approaches for individuals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal therapist will work closely with diverse patient populations, emphasizing maternal clients and communities facing a variety of socio-economic challenges. This role requires empathy, cultural competence, and a deep understanding of the barriers these clients face. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or Clinical Social Work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited program.

• A valid independent license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) in the state of California.

• Demonstrated capacity to manage a sizable caseload effectively while maintaining thorough documentation and adhering to regulations.

• Proficiency in electronic medical records and computer applications, with effective email communication skills.

• Solid understanding of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 50,000 to 70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
