Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Baylor Physical Therapy, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Directing and implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans tailored to each client's needs and capabilities.
• Evaluating clients' functional abilities using diagnostic tests to develop appropriate intervention strategies.
• Supervising and collaborating with physical therapy assistants to ensure the effective delivery of care.
• Administering therapeutic exercises, manually and non-manually, and utilizing physical agents like traction and massage to alleviate symptoms.
• Making assessments regarding the home environment's impact on rehabilitation and providing recommendations for modifications that enhance client independence.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation, including initial evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Engaging in interdisciplinary meetings to collectively plan and adjust treatment strategies based on client progress.
• Educating clients and their families on therapy processes, use of assistive devices, and overall wellness.
• Updating the care plans regularly and ensuring all provided services align with physician directives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse client population in the Fords area, including individuals recovering from surgeries, those managing chronic conditions, and patients seeking rehabilitation after injuries. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
