Front Desk Customer Service Representative

Job Description

Do you LOVE dogs and enjoy making people feel welcome? We are looking for a friendly, organized, and professional Front Desk Customer Service Representative to join our doggy daycare team!

Our Front Desk team is the first impression our clients and their pups have when they walk through our doors. This is a highly customer-facing position that requires someone who is personable, confident, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

Greet clients and their dogs with a warm, friendly attitude
Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with our clients
Check dogs in and out of daycare, boarding, and grooming services
Answer phones, respond to client questions, and assist with scheduling
Process payments and manage client accounts accurately
Communicate daycare policies, packages, promotions, and services
Keep the front desk, lobby, and client-facing areas clean, organized, and welcoming
Assist with reservations, enrollments, retail sales, and client requests
Work closely with the daycare and management teams to ensure a smooth client experience
Handle client concerns professionally and help find solutions
Stay organized while balancing multiple tasks in a busy environment

What We're Looking For

Must genuinely LOVE dogs!
Friendly, outgoing, and naturally personable
Professional and presentable — this is a client-facing position
Extremely organized and detail-oriented
Reliable and punctual
Strong communication and customer service skills
Comfortable using computers and learning new software
Able to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed
Previous customer service, hospitality, veterinary, grooming, daycare, or pet industry experience is a plus

The Ideal Candidate

You are someone who can walk into a busy lobby with three clients waiting, a phone ringing, and a dog trying to steal a treat — and still smile, stay organized, and provide excellent customer service. You take pride in your appearance, your work, and the experience you create for every client and pup who walks through our doors.
