Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to understand and address clients' mental health needs, utilizing standardized assessment tools. Design and implement customized treatment plans, collaborating closely with clients to establish achievable goals that align with their mental health objectives. Provide individual therapy sessions to adult clients utilizing evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT). Utilize teletherapy platforms to lead engaging virtual sessions, ensuring a seamless and supportive environment for clients. Offer crisis intervention when necessary, employing de-escalation strategies to support clients during moments of acute distress. Participate in continuous professional development and training, staying informed about advancements in the mental health field and honing therapeutic skills. Patient Population / Client Focus As a mental health counselor at Thrive Integrative Therapeutic Solutions, you will work with a diverse client population. This includes individuals experiencing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Your role will contribute significantly toward improving clients' overall mental well-being and helping them develop coping strategies for life's challenges. Qualifications A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and rapport-building with clients. Exhibit compassion, professionalism, and the ability to maintain a non-judgmental approach in therapeutic settings. Efficient time management and organization skills to handle a dynamic caseload responsibly. No history of disciplinary actions on your professional record. Preferred Experience Experience with teletherapy or online counseling platforms is highly desirable. Familiarity with culturally sensitive approaches and trauma-informed care. Prior experience in outpatient settings or community mental health services is advantageous.
