Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests across various disciplines, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established guidelines.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all protocols, contribute to training new staff or students, and help maintain lab quality and safety standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe workspace, while upholding all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Earned a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Achieve ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout your employment.
