Accounts Receivable SpecialistClearbrook Plaza 1835 - Arlington Heights, IL 60005OverviewSalary Range $55,000.00 - $55,000.00 Salary Position Type Full TimeDescriptionInsurance BillerLocation: Arlington Heights, ILSchedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)Salary: $55,000Are you passionate about empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live their fullest lives?Clearbrook, an agency dedicated to enriching lives and embracing potential for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is seeking a professional to join our Business Office team.In this role, you will perform a variety of insurance billing functions, submit and process all claims, and enter all clinical billing. You will report directly to the Director of Accounting.Key ResponsibilitiesInsurance & Credentialing: Assist with insurance enrollment and verify client benefits prior to therapy sessions.Billing & Claims Management: Submit and process all claims for the CHILD program, process Community Mental Health billing, and enter related cash receipts and billing into the Financial Edge system. Rectify rejected claims and clinical billing in a timely manner.Clinical Coordination: Ensure required authorizations and prescriptions for therapy clients are current.Reconciliation & Cross-Training: Reconcile monthly client banking for the ICFs and cross-train in other duties, including ROCS entry and cash deposits.Compliance & Support: Maintain strict client confidentiality and complete mandatory annual training.QualificationsRequired:Must be at least 21 years of age.Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by Clearbrook.Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug test within 10 days of the job offer.Must pass an Illinois state criminal background check and a DCFS CANTS background check with no disqualifying conditions.Must pass a TB test within 30 days of employment.Must be computer proficient with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.Education & Experience:Minimum: High School education or equivalent with at least 3 years of related experience.Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in a related field.Full Time Benefits Package:As a full-time, benefits-eligible employee, you will receive:Group term life insurance and long-term disability insurance (fully paid for by Clearbrook!)Health insuranceOptional dental, short-term disability, and critical illness and accident insurance403(b) retirement savings plus company contributionsPaid sick daysPaid holidaysPaid vacationOpportunities for training and referral bonusesAnd MORE!We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE)
