Work Environment

This role is situated in an onsite hospital facility, providing an engaging and fast-paced atmosphere. The office operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing a structured work-life balance while delivering essential services. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients experiencing pain, utilizing advanced diagnostic skills to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Administer regional anesthesia, joint injections, and other procedural interventions to control pain and enhance mobility.
• Foster effective communication with patients and their families, educating them about their conditions and proposed treatment options.
• Collaborate with case management to facilitate discharge planning, ensuring patients have the necessary resources for recovery.
• Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing patient care delivery and enhancing cost-effectiveness.
• Document patient interactions and treatment plans meticulously, ensuring compliance with medical guidelines and insurance standards.
• Participate in specialized inpatient and outpatient consultations, occasionally providing on-call support as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily focus on patients suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions, which range from post-surgical discomfort to complex regional pain syndromes. Qualifications

• A valid Physician Assistant license in New York State is required.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $150,000 to $180,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
