Work Environment

As a Pediatric Physician Assistant, you will work onsite within our surgical center during night shifts, specifically from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, where you will provide fundamental outpatient services. Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Provide holistic outpatient care by conducting thorough medical assessments, diagnosing various health conditions, and developing individualized treatment protocols for pediatric patients.
• Collaborative Approach: Work alongside a skilled team of pediatricians and support staff to create an integrated approach to treating and managing patient health effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) with an active New York state license to practice.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience, preferably in pediatrics.
• Candidates with a current Nurse Practitioner certification obtained prior to the Master's degree requirement will be considered if they possess the hands-on experience needed.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations, including those from low-income and ethnic minority communities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in pediatric healthcare settings.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure efficient patient documentation and follow-ups.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 160,000 per year, along with a performance-based bonus structure.
