Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including thorough medical histories and physical examinations, to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment plans for pain management.
• Provide preventive health services, such as conducting wellness visits, administering immunizations, and offering screenings that support patient safety and health maintenance.
• Manage a variety of acute and complex care situations that require a high level of clinical judgment and the ability to formulate differential diagnoses.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests, ensuring that results are communicated effectively to patients and appropriate referrals are made when necessary.
• Coordinate care with specialists within the healthcare community to ascertain comprehensive and multidisciplinary management of patients' chronic pain conditions.
• Educate patients about pain management strategies, treatment options, and lifestyle adjustments, emphasizing the importance of disease prevention and health maintenance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on treating adult patients suffering from chronic pain conditions, including but not limited to musculoskeletal disorders, neuropathic pain, and post-surgical recovery. Your expertise will be crucial in assessing pain levels, managing medications, and recommending therapeutic interventions that improve quality of life and functionality for our patients.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physician Assistant, valid in the state of New York.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physician Assistant in pain management or related fields.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to objectively assess and prioritize patient needs effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Proven multitasking abilities and proficient time management skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality customer service in a professional and empathetic manner.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in pain management, orthopedics, or a related specialty demonstrating familiarity with various pain treatment methodologies.
• Advanced knowledge of treatment protocols and pain management techniques.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems to document patient encounters and communicate effectively within the healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 150,000 to 180,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to attractive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
