Work Environment

This position operates within a dynamic surgical center that emphasizes a collaborative and patient-focused atmosphere. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in an onsite setting. Our center boasts modern facilities designed for optimal patient care and comfort. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, utilizing advanced diagnostic skills to develop tailored treatment plans that address individual pain management needs.
• Perform a range of interventions, including medication management, physical therapy referrals, and minimally invasive procedures as directed by supervising physicians.
• Collaborate with case management to ensure effective discharge planning that supports patients’ transitions post-treatment.
• Offer consultation services to patients requiring hospitalization, ensuring a seamless continuum of care based on their specific medical needs.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient documentation that satisfies legal and insurance requirements, addressing any claims denials in an organized and timely manner.
• Engage in both inpatient and outpatient care scenarios, potentially participating in on-call duties to support after-hours needs.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
