Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose patients presenting with chronic pain through thorough assessments and detailed history-taking, ensuring accurate identification of conditions requiring intervention.
• Formulate and implement individualized patient management plans in collaboration with supervising physicians, utilizing evidence-based protocols to prioritize patient outcomes.
• Prescribe appropriate medications, including chronic pain management regimens, while providing education on treatment options and life management strategies to patients and their families.
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic tests (e.g., laboratory tests, X-rays) to facilitate precise diagnoses and inform treatment planning.
• Consult and collaborate with other healthcare team members, ensuring integrated care approaches are applied, particularly for complex pain cases.
• Continuously monitor and assess patients' health statuses, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on progress and feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role centers on working with patients suffering from both acute and chronic pain, often stemming from conditions such as arthritis, neuropathy, and post-surgical issues. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• Active licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of New York is required.
• A minimum of three years' relevant experience in a clinical healthcare setting, ideally within pain management or a related field.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, allowing for clear interactions with patients, families, and team members.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
