Spring Hill Medical Physicians is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Physician Assistant to join our Pain Management department. In this role, you will play an integral part in patient care by performing evaluations, prescribing therapies, and assisting in interventional procedures. Work Environment

Your work will be conducted onsite at our state-of-the-art hospital facility, which is equipped with the latest medical technologies and tools. The collaborative environment promotes a strong team dynamic among healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, and specialists in pain management. The work schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you a consistent routine while fostering work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently evaluate patients presenting with a wide range of pain-related conditions, conducting thorough assessments and differentiating between various etiologies of pain.
• Order and interpret diagnostic imaging tests (like X-rays and MRIs) to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, recommending therapeutic options such as physical therapy and advanced interventional procedures.
• Prescribe appropriate non-narcotic medications to manage pain effectively in an effort to minimize reliance on narcotics.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring that all treatments and evaluations are properly recorded to reflect the latest patient health status.
• Provide continuous care and support to patients, addressing any concerns or questions that arise to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including pain specialists, physical therapists, and mental health professionals to provide the best possible care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with adults experiencing chronic pain conditions, including but not limited to arthritis, neuropathic pain, and postoperative pain. Our focus on compassionate care ensures that patients receive holistic treatment that addresses both physical and emotional aspects of their conditions. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field from an accredited program.
• An active state licensure as a Physician Assistant, allowing you to practice in New York.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, ideally in pain management or a related specialty.
• Demonstrated ability to perform complete physical examinations and accurately diagnose illnesses.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, providing you the ability to connect with patients and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple patients and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in pain management or related medical specialty.
• Completion of additional certifications in pain management, interventional techniques, or similar areas is a plus.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and healthcare documentation practices.

Compensation and Benefits

The competitive salary for this position ranges from USD 150,000 to 180,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
