Work Environment

This is an onsite position at our Surgical Center, where you will work 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday, with hours extending until 5:00 PM. The center is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and provides a friendly, collaborative atmosphere among our team of healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop tailored treatment plans in conjunction with supervising physicians.
• Perform comprehensive physical exams and order necessary diagnostic tests to accurately evaluate patient conditions.
• Administer injections, including trigger point and joint injections, as part of your therapeutic interventions.
• Prescribe medications and offer expert recommendations for pain management strategies.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on effective pain management techniques and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain meticulous and accurate patient records, adhering to all healthcare regulations and documentation standards.
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to discussions on patient care and improving treatment protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily involves working with a diverse patient population facing challenges related to chronic pain, injuries, and post-surgical recovery. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies.
• A valid New York State Physician Assistant license.
• Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (PA-C) is required.
• A valid DEA and NPI number.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborative patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working as a Physician Assistant in a clinical, hospital, emergency room, or other healthcare settings.
• Experience in pain management or a closely related field is preferred, emphasizing a strong foundational knowledge of pain management therapies and procedures.
• Familiarity with health and patient care regulations to ensure compliance and effective patient advocacy.

Compensation and Benefits
