Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite within our hospital facility, working in a dynamic and collaborative healthcare environment. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities

As a Physician Assistant in Pain Management, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for patients suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to monitor patient progress and modify treatment strategies as necessary.
• Work closely with case managers to coordinate effective discharge planning for patients, ensuring continuity of care.
• Engage in consultations both inpatient and outpatient, including responding to on-call situations as required.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation to comply with insurance and healthcare regulations, promptly managing any appeals related to claim denials.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to implement strategies that promote cost-effectiveness and elevate the quality of patient care.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
