Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, taking vital signs, reviewing medical histories, and performing physical examinations to accurately diagnose pain-related conditions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans under the supervision of licensed physicians, utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities.
• Perform minor procedures, assist in pain management interventions, and provide pre- and post-operative care to ensure optimal recovery for patients.
• Educate patients and their families regarding pain management strategies, medication management, and lifestyle adjustments to improve overall health and well-being.
• Maintain meticulous medical records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
• Participate in team meetings and case discussions to facilitate coordinated care and continuous improvement in treatment protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physician Assistant in our Pain Management department, you will primarily work with patients experiencing various pain conditions, such as neuropathic pain, musculoskeletal disorders, and post-operative pain. This role requires a compassionate approach, as many patients come from diverse backgrounds with unique healthcare needs and varying levels of pain tolerance. Your ability to communicate effectively and provide empathetic care is crucial in helping them navigate their treatment journey.

Qualifications

• Active state licensure and certification as a Physician Assistant, with a strong commitment to adhering to best practices in patient care.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 150,000 to 180,000, commensurate with experience.
