Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a range of emotional and psychological issues within family systems. Your role will include:

• Conducting initial assessments and developing personalized treatment plans for couples, individuals, and families.

• Providing therapy for diverse issues, including addiction, grief, communication difficulties, conflicts among family members, and adjustment to separation or divorce.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to meet the unique needs of your clients.

• Maintaining accurate documentation of sessions and progress notes in accordance with practice policies and state regulations.

• Participating in regular supervision and consultation to remain informed of best practices in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve counseling couples as well as addressing issues faced by individual family members. You will work with a variety of demographic groups, offering support on topics such as:

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Massachusetts.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.

• A year of practical experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating the ability to manage a diverse caseload.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of one year of experience is required, candidates with additional certifications or specialized training in therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or family systems therapy will be given preference.
