Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate psychological well-being, establishing appropriate treatment protocols tailored to individual patient needs.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing a variety of evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, addressing emotional challenges, fostering personal growth, and enhancing patients’ coping strategies.

• Maintain open lines of communication with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to provide integrated and holistic patient care.

• Assist during crisis situations, offering immediate intervention and support to patients in mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families regarding mental health issues, effective treatment options, and community resources available for additional support.
\n
• Ensure accurate and secure documentation for all patient interactions, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives to share insights and stay informed on best practices.

• Stay abreast of current research and evolving regulations to continuously improve service delivery in accordance with contemporary mental health standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse population of clients dealing with mental health challenges, including anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, and trauma-related conditions. Your work will significantly influence their path to recovery, offering them vital tools to manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.
\n
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and trauma-informed care practices.
\n
• Ability to perform detailed mental health assessments, create effective treatment plans, and implement a range of therapeutic techniques.

• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain therapeutic relationships.

• Proficient in using telehealth technology and electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience working with adult populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
