Work Environment

This on-site position requires full-time availability from Monday to Friday, primarily between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM. The rehabilitation facility is designed to promote comfort and engage patients in a positive atmosphere conducive to healing. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology and an array of resources, our setting allows therapists to deliver tailored treatment plans effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and set specific recovery objectives.
• Manage a patient load of approximately one individual per hour, providing personalized therapy sessions aimed at optimizing mobility and functionality.
• Create and implement evidence-based treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise regimens.
• Facilitate patient education on the benefits of rehabilitation and wellness programs that reduce reliance on medications and promote non-surgical alternatives.
• Monitor patient progress, document interventions, and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure maximum outcomes.
• Build rapport and consistently motivate patients, guiding them through their therapeutic exercises to achieve improvement in strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Utilize software like EMR Systems for accurate record-keeping and effective management of patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and age-related conditions. As a Physical Therapist, you will directly contribute to their rehabilitation journey by designing and executing targeted treatment plans that promote recovery, functional independence, and overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree (MPT or DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Strong foundational knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics applicable to therapy.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques, with experience in developing and implementing exercise programs tailored to the needs of patients.
• Comfortable using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly desirable, as it aligns with the focus areas of our organization.
• Demonstrated ability to foster strong patient relationships and provide compassionate care is a plus.
• Experience in utilizing rehabilitation technologies and collaborative care practices would be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
