Business Development Representative

SERVPRO is a nationally recognized leader in restoration and emergency services, helping businesses recover from water, fire, and storm damage when it matters most. SERVPRO Team George is looking for a motivated and results focused Business Development Representative to grow our commercial relationships across the Tampa Bay area. We currently have multiple territories available throughout Tampa Bay, offering the opportunity to build and grow relationships within your own market. In this role, you will connect with property managers, facility leaders, insurance professionals, and other key decision makers who rely on SERVPRO when property damage emergencies occur. Success in this role comes from persistence, initiative, and the willingness to get out into the community and create opportunities. The people who do well here are proactive, competitive, and treat their territory like their own business. This role is built for someone who enjoys being out in the field, prospecting, networking, and consistently creating new opportunities. Build relationships with commercial property managers, facility leaders, insurance professionals, and other key partners Develop Emergency Ready Plans for commercial facilities so businesses are prepared before a loss occurs Identify and pursue new commercial prospects through networking, industry associations, and one to one outreach Represent SERVPRO Team George at industry events, continuing education programs, and networking opportunities Monitor local loss activity and respond when opportunities arise Work with operations teams to scope services, communicate solutions, and support project estimates Maintain strong client relationships throughout projects and ensure an excellent customer experience Identify and develop Centers of Influence that generate long term referral opportunities Participate in local and regional storm response efforts when severe weather impacts the community

People who are proactive, competitive, and motivated to create their own opportunities Individuals who enjoy prospecting, networking, and building new relationships Self starters who take ownership of their territory and consistently work to grow their pipeline People who are comfortable working in a competitive environment and driven by results This role is best suited for someone who prefers being out in the market building relationships and opening doors rather than waiting for opportunities to come to them.

Superb sales, customer service, administrative, verbal, and written communication skills Strong communication and presentation abilities Organized, self motivated, and results driven professionals Comfortable with prospecting and relationship building Experience using CRM systems and LinkedIn for prospecting and relationship management is strongly helpful Two or more years of business to business sales experience is preferred Background in service based sales, restoration, insurance, facilities management, property services, or related industries is helpful but not required

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

This role operates both in the office and in the field throughout the assigned territory. Travel throughout the Tampa Bay area is frequent since building relationships in person is an important part of success in this role. Occasional evening events or industry functions may occur.

Compensation includes a competitive base salary plus commission, providing strong earning potential for individuals who consistently build relationships, generate opportunities, and grow their territory. Flexible work from home options available. Compensation: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
