Full-Time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - Remote Opportunity

Position Overview

The Compassionate Health Center is seeking a dedicated and licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our compassionate and dynamic team. Work Environment

As a remote-based therapist, you will have the flexibility to conduct sessions from the comfort of your home while having access to digital platforms that facilitate telehealth services. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, establishing individualized treatment plans that foster their growth and recovery.
• Provide evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions tailored to clients’ unique situations, employing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Systems Therapy.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team during weekly staff meetings and one-on-one supervision sessions to continuously refine treatment strategies and improve client engagement.
• Utilize teletherapy tools for virtual sessions, ensuring high-quality care for clients who may have mobility issues or reside in underserved regions.
• Document treatment plans, client progress, and session notes in compliance with applicable legal and ethical guidelines, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and workshops to enhance clinical skills and stay updated with industry best practices.
• Establish therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients and monitor progress to adapt interventions that best suit their needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will focus on diverse populations, providing therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups. You will particularly benefit from experience working with children, teens, couples, and families from various backgrounds, including clients of color and those from the LGBTQIA community. Your expertise in these areas will enhance our service delivery and support inclusive care for all clients.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Current state-issued licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A minimum of two years of full-time counseling experience in a mental health setting.
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse client populations and experience in providing culturally competent care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in teletherapy or digital mental health services is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with advanced therapeutic techniques including trauma-informed care and addiction recovery methodologies.
• Skills in conducting group therapy sessions or workshops focusing on mental wellness.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, adjusted based on experience and qualifications. In addition to a base salary, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
