Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Bison, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of diverse clients, establishing therapeutic rapport while adhering to ethical and professional standards.

• Conducting regular sessions to assess client progress, providing ongoing support, and determining appropriate discharge planning.
\n
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized, person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment records, in compliance with regulatory standards.
\n
• Performing intake assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status and develop initial treatment strategies.
\n
• Participating in individual supervision sessions to reflect on practice, receive feedback, and enhance clinical skills.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to integrate services and optimize client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse outpatient population consisting of adults, children, and families facing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. By establishing trust and creating a safe therapeutic environment, you will empower clients to engage in their treatment and achieve their personal goals.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.

• Current, unrestricted, and active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting, demonstrating clinical competency.

• Proficiency in utilizing technology for client management, including Excel, RMS systems, and therapeutic documentation software.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences are advantageous:

• Prior experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families, particularly in a remote or virtual counseling context.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Our compensation package includes:
