Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that respect and reflect the unique experiences and backgrounds of each patient.

• Develop customized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to address the individual needs of clients.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing mental health resilience and promoting positive wellbeing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for clients.

• Respond promptly to mental health crises, providing immediate support and intervention as necessary.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues and the available community resources to empower better health outcomes.

• Maintain timely and accurate documentation, adhering strictly to legal, ethical, and policy standards.

• Participate in case conferences and team meetings to facilitate a cohesive treatment approach, while also engaging in on-going cultural competency training.

• Stay informed of emerging research, best practices, and cultural considerations pertinent to mental health treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.

• A strong foundation in mental health disorders, including familiarity with contemporary evidence-based treatment methods and cultural competency.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy through approaches that are culturally responsive.

• Proficient crisis intervention skills and the ability to function effectively under stress.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a proven record of establishing strong rapport with a diverse array of clients.

• Comfortable using electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technology for documentation and client management.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health counseling setting, particularly in outpatient services.

• Familiarity with a range of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
