Key Responsibilities\n

• Directly engage with clients in both virtual settings and in-person school environments, providing assessment, treatment, and support tailored to each individual's needs.

• Conduct evidence-based screening to identify clients' mental health conditions and develop integrated care plans that encompass their therapies and associated services.

• Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and family members to facilitate a comprehensive approach to each student's well-being.

• Lead brief, focused prevention and recovery sessions for students, ensuring that interventions are developmentally appropriate and respectful of cultural differences.

• Maintain a manageable caseload while ensuring the timely completion of all necessary documentation, reports, and data submissions.

• Provide crisis intervention when required, managing urgent situations with professionalism and care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students experiencing major mental illnesses or severe emotional disorders, often arising from challenging backgrounds. These may include anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and other mental health challenges exacerbated by socio-economic factors. You will play an integral role in helping students navigate their emotional landscapes and develop coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Florida.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field; further education is a plus.

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, particularly in school settings or with child/adolescent populations.

• Strong understanding of clinical practices, ethical standards, and legal regulations as they pertain to mental health services.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
