Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of clients to develop individualized treatment plans.

• Implement and monitor behavior management strategies tailored to each client's needs, promoting positive outcomes.

• Provide direct counseling and psychotherapy services, utilizing both individual and group therapy techniques.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and fellow social workers to ensure holistic treatment and monitoring of client progress.

• Empower families with resources, skills, and knowledge to support clients’ mental health journeys and developmental growth.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness strategies, to enhance treatment efficacy.

• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with organizational standards and legal requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will engage with a diverse client population, including individuals seeking recovery from substance use disorders and those facing various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid and active LCSW license in the state of California is mandatory.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of mental health and substance use treatment methodologies.

• Proficiency in using MS Office applications, particularly Outlook and Word, along with experience in maintaining electronic health records.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a detox or substance use treatment facility is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with third-wave therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Knowledge of community resources and support networks for referral purposes.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
