Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, particularly in populations ranging from the homeless to domestic abuse victims.

• Collaborate with clients to design personalized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, goals, and preferences, focusing on empowering them throughout their therapeutic journey.

• Implement evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address clients' mental health concerns and foster their recovery.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices, providing essential support to enhance their understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process.

• Monitor and track client progress, continually revising treatment plans based on feedback and observed outcomes to optimize effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals battling mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Many of our clients come from marginalized backgrounds, such as homeless individuals, refugees, or survivors of domestic abuse. Your role is to provide empathetic and supportive therapy tailored to their unique circumstances, contributing significantly to their recovery and quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold an active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
