Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs, strengths, and resources while considering their unique backgrounds.

• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma-informed approaches.
\n
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that include measurable goals and appropriate interventions tailored to each client’s needs.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to client care.
\n
• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions, psychoeducational classes, and support groups to enhance community and peer support.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention, risk assessments, and safety planning to clients as appropriate; navigate immediate situations with compassion and decisiveness.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment sessions and outcomes, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents attending school, who face a myriad of mental health challenges ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma-related issues. By fostering a supportive relationship with these young individuals, you will help them build resilience, improve coping mechanisms, and enhance their overall mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
\n
• A firm understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities applicable to school-aged clients.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage with diverse populations.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of two years of practical experience in mental health or outpatient settings, preferably working with children and adolescents in a school-based context.

• Experience in using therapy techniques that address a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.

Compensation and Benefits\n
