Work Environment\n

Operating in a telehealth setting allows our therapists the flexibility to maintain a healthy work-life balance while delivering high-quality care. Our remote environment is designed to empower individuals in their practice, with a strong emphasis on professional development, peer support, and wellness initiatives aimed at preventing burnout. Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally-sensitive assessments and interventions for both new and returning clients, ensuring their backgrounds and unique situations are considered during treatment.

• Utilize evidence-based methodologies to develop and implement personalized therapy plans tailored to the specific needs of individuals, couples, and families.

• Design crisis management, safety, and wellness plans for clients in distress, collaborating with them to foster resilience and self-management strategies.

• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.

• Engage in regular supervision sessions and team meetings to discuss client progress, share best practices, and explore new therapeutic techniques.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a closely related field is required.

• Possession of an active LCSW, LMFT, or LPC license in Virginia is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing mental health counseling and addressing various client needs is essential.

• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities are crucial for building rapport with clients and collaborating with team members.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience using evidence-based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or mindfulness practices.

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex client cases effectively and to implement comprehensive treatment plans.

• Prior experience working in a telehealth setting is advantageous, though not required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 110,000 annually , complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
