Work Environment

This position is based onsite, offering a welcoming atmosphere where professionals work together seamlessly to provide outstanding patient care. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions, challenges, and treatment goals.
• Design and implement individualized care plans based on in-depth patient assessments and evidence-based practices.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques to optimize patient recovery, focusing on enhancing motion and mobility while minimizing medication reliance.
• Supervise patient treatment sessions, maintaining a manageable load of one patient per hour to ensure personalized attention.
• Motivate and educate patients on their recovery processes, instilling confidence and encouraging adherence to treatment protocols.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to align treatment strategies and share insights on patient progress.
• Track patient progress meticulously, documenting care delivered and communicating any changes with relevant healthcare providers.
• Develop and promote wellness initiatives to improve patients' physical fitness, including tailored exercise routines and lifestyle modifications.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients who are typically insured through private medical plans, presenting with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. You will be pivotal in guiding them through rehabilitation processes that enhance their mobility post-injury or surgery and empowers them towards regaining independence.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, with a focus in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• A current Physical Therapist license in California, with no disciplinary actions against it.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and proven success in developing effective exercise regimens for patients.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records software, particularly WebPT, and adeptness in maintaining accurate patient documentation.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with fellow healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Experience in home care environments, understanding the nuances of delivering therapy in a patient's home.
• A background in managing diverse patient populations, including those dealing with chronic pain or post-surgical recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

In recognition of your skills and dedication, we are offering a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 125,000 per year, supplemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
