Work Environment

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Motion Chiro Therapy Hospital, you will work onsite in our modern Rehabilitation Center located in Los Angeles. The facility is designed to facilitate effective rehabilitation through a combination of private treatment rooms and open therapy areas, equipped with the latest technology and therapeutic equipment. Your regular work schedule will be Monday to Friday, allowing a consistent routine to help you and your patients thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, including range of motion, strength, and functional abilities, to develop customized treatment plans.

• Implement and oversee a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, exercise programs, and neuromuscular re-education.

• Guide and educate patients through active and passive exercises, ensuring they understand their roles in the rehabilitation process.

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADL), gait training, and prosthetic training, focusing on building independence and improving quality of life.

• Maintain clear and consistent communication with team members, including physicians and rehabilitation staff, to coordinate patient care and enhance treatment effectiveness.

• Document patient progress comprehensively, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals requiring orthopedic rehabilitation, ranging from post-surgical recovery to chronic injury management. You will work closely with diverse cases, including orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and conditions related to chronic pain. Your role will directly impact their recovery journey, facilitating the return to activities they enjoy.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure to practice physical therapy in California.

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

While prior experience in orthopedic rehabilitation is advantageous, it is not a strict requirement for this position. We welcome motivated new graduates who are eager to learn and develop their clinical skills in a supportive environment.

Compensation and Benefits
