Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' specific goals and requirements, crafting individualized treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation needs.
• Manage and administer care to a patient caseload of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized attention and engagement in therapeutic processes.
• Utilize your specialized knowledge and experience in orthopedic outpatient settings to deliver cost-effective treatment strategies aimed at enhancing patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Advocate for alternative interventions to medications and surgical procedures, focusing on natural methods of recovery.
• Design and implement comprehensive care plans that integrate various advanced treatment techniques tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
• Create and guide patients through customized fitness and wellness regimens promoting their physical health and rehabilitation goals.
• Provide high-quality, evidence-based care, making use of proven interventions to maximize patient outcomes.
• Mentor and motivate patients throughout their recovery journey, fostering a positive mindset towards healing and rehabilitation.
• Encourage healthier lifestyle choices by enhancing patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through tailored exercise programs.
• Collaborate efficiently with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care coordination for each patient.
• Assess treatment effectiveness, monitor progress, and maintain thorough documentation of patient interactions and care provided within our electronic medical records (EMR) system.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients requiring orthopedic rehabilitation services. These include individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a diverse range of patients, understanding their unique backgrounds and rehabilitation needs, to develop tailored strategies that promote healing and well-being.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• A clean professional record, free from any board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques to enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Exceptional competence in developing and implementing customized exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with EMR Software, particularly WebPT, to maintain accurate patient records and improve workflow efficiency.

Preferred Experience

Experience specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly preferred. Candidates should have hands-on exposure to various treatment techniques and a demonstrated ability to motivate patients through their rehabilitation journeys. Previous involvement in designing fitness programs and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team will enhance your application.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
