Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, crisis interventions, and follow-up care to clients, ensuring that each individual receives timely support.
• Participate in mental health and medical rounds, presenting patient cases and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to create well-rounded treatment plans.
• Engage actively in case conferences to create treatment strategies for clients receiving and being considered for mental health services.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, psychoeducational workshops, and process groups designed to foster connection and growth among participants.
• Assess and coordinate patient needs to determine the appropriate level of care, linking clients to additional resources as necessary.
• Document all client interactions and treatment plans meticulously to meet state and clinic requirements.
• Participate in clinical supervision sessions weekly, fostering ongoing professional development and sharing insights with peers.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role will be working with children, teenagers, and their families who are navigating various emotional and psychological challenges. Your expertise will be crucial in providing therapeutic interventions that address issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral difficulties, and familial conflicts. The diverse backgrounds of our clients require a compassionate, individualized approach to therapy, ensuring that all voices are heard and validated.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
• Strong clinical skills demonstrated through previous experience and a proven ability to build rapport with clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and team members.
• A commitment to ongoing professional growth, including engagement in relevant training and supervision opportunities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with children and adolescent populations, particularly in settings such as community health clinics or educational environments.
• Background in conducting psychological assessments and an interest in supervising interns or trainees is a plus.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly those beneficial for family therapy and group dynamics.

Compensation and Benefits

In recognition of your expertise and commitment, this role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 52,000 to 70,000.
