Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will:

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient's unique trauma history and develop appropriate treatment strategies.

• Create and execute individualized treatment plans that address the complexities of trauma recovery and emphasize building resilience.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to help clients process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and nurture their emotional well-being.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating sensitivity and professionalism.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and laid resources that can assist in their recovery journeys.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards of practice.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development sessions, focusing on trauma-informed care and best practices in therapy.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continuously enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will support primarily consist of individuals affected by post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role will be critical in assisting these survivors as they navigate their healing journeys, and your compassionate approach will foster a supportive therapeutic relationship essential for recovery.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in Pennsylvania.

• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and various trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, alongside a non-judgmental attitude toward patients and their experiences.

• The ability to remain composed in high-stress situations, offering stability to clients in need.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we welcome applicants who show a strong passion for trauma work and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning. Experience in trauma-focused therapies and methodologies will be an asset, as will familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and remote counseling tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n
