Work Environment

This position will be based onsite within our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, which is designed to facilitate effective therapy sessions through modern equipment and a comfortable atmosphere. Employees will work a standard schedule of 40 hours per week, complemented by variable weekends as needed. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess functional limitations and disabilities, developing personalized treatment plans.
• Provide consultative support to other healthcare providers aimed at enhancing a patient's continuum of care.
• Engage with patients of all ages, ensuring adherence to our high standards of customer service, while maintaining professionalism and compassion.
• Implement treatment sessions based on thorough evaluations, documenting patient progress and re-evaluating plans as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary treatment team, sharing documented findings and updates regularly.
• Participate in leadership initiatives, including community outreach, continuous quality improvement, and program development.
• Engage in staff meetings and continue professional development through education and in-service training opportunities found within the organization.
• Supervise assigned support staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to department policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with patients and their families to facilitate understanding of treatment and discharge plans, ensuring they are well-informed at all stages of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our physical therapy services cater to a diverse range of patients experiencing orthopedic issues, including but not limited to post-operative recovery, chronic pain management, sports injuries, and rehabilitation from injuries sustained during daily activities. The therapeutic approaches used are carefully crafted based on each patient's individual needs and circumstances, emphasizing functional recovery and pain relief.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• Current physical therapy state license in New Jersey is mandatory.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication, coupled with strong organizational skills.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with patient documentation protocols.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, prior experience in an orthopedic rehabilitation setting is highly preferred. Candidates who possess experience in collaborative care settings or have taught in clinical environments will have an added advantage. Individual familiarity with contemporary rehabilitation techniques and evidence-based practices will enhance the applicant's candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position falls within the range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
