Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs, history, and psychosocial stressors to develop personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic methodologies to facilitate individual and family counseling sessions, addressing issues such as trauma, addiction, and domestic violence.

• Document detailed client records, including medical and psychological histories, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes, ensuring compliance with telehealth regulations and best practices.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists and social workers, to coordinate care and optimize client support, continually educating team members about the complexities of client needs.

• Engage clients in crisis management interventions and develop strategies for effective coping and resilience.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will provide counseling services to a diverse clientele, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds and socioeconomic statuses. Your clientele may experience a range of mental health conditions, from anxiety and depression to more complex behavioral health challenges. Your awareness of cultural competencies and ability to foster trust will be vital in building effective therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist in California.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of one year of experience providing counseling services in a clinical or community setting.

• Experience working within a telehealth framework, utilizing technology to enhance client interactions and care delivery.

• Background in crisis intervention and knowledge of intervention strategies related to trauma and addiction treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
