Work Environment\n

This role is designed as a remote position, utilizing telehealth technology to connect with patients effectively. Our flexible work structure allows you to maintain a work-life balance while contributing to our mission of providing exceptional mental health services. The regular work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility needed to accommodate patient schedules and needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify treatment needs, cultural factors, and personal history, enabling tailored and effective care.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices and culturally relevant therapeutic modalities, taking into account each patient’s unique background.

• Provide one-on-one therapy, family counseling, and group sessions that address a variety of mental health concerns, fostering resilience and promoting overall well-being among clients.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate comprehensive treatment for our patients.

• Respond to mental health crises with effective interventions and support, ensuring individuals receive immediate assistance when needed.

• Facilitate educational discussions for patients and their families regarding mental health topics, treatment options, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development, case conferences, and cultural competency training to enhance skills and improve patient care.

• Stay informed of evolving best practices, research, and trends in mental health therapy to provide optimal support to our diverse clientele.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies, coupled with demonstrated cultural competence.

• Proven experience delivering individual and group therapy in a manner that respects and responds to the cultural needs of clients.

• Strong crisis intervention skills with an ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a capability to build rapport across diverse populations.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant digital applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
