Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations to assess and document clients' psychological needs, establishing a rapport designed to foster trust and encourage openness throughout the healing process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems, with a preference for experience with AVATAR or similar platforms.

• Demonstrable knowledge of the effects of various prescribed medications on mental health and treatment.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities that allow for effective collaboration with clients and professionals alike.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working as a mental health counselor, particularly in a clinical or community health setting.

• Experience in addressing and managing underlying physical health conditions in conjunction with mental health therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
