Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify students' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Deliver short-term psychotherapy and facilitate group therapy sessions for students coping with a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, and social issues.

• Consult with school staff and parents regarding intervention strategies and mental health resources tailored to support students in their educational journey.

• Plan and implement outreach initiatives to raise awareness of mental health resources available within the school community.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and emerging trends in mental health care.

• Provide immediate crisis assessment and intervention services, ensuring the safety and well-being of students in distress.

• Assess suicidal ideation in students, coordinating with families and external resources to arrange hospitalizations when necessary.

• Utilize best practices in ethical and legal standards to deliver responsible and compliant care according to state regulations.

• Conduct both in-person and remote sessions as needed, adapting approaches based on students' unique circumstances.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a diverse group of adolescent and young adult students, ranging from middle school to college-age, who may be facing various psychological and emotional challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) is required along with a current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) designation. Alternatively, candidates with a fully licensed LMHC certification may be considered.
