Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Best Care Therapeutic Services, your day-to-day responsibilities will entail:

• Conducting in-depth assessments to evaluate the severity and nature of mood disorder symptoms in clients, allowing for a nuanced understanding of their needs.

• Collaborating with clients to create personalized, goal-oriented treatment plans that prioritize their mental health objectives and preferences.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment outcomes.

• Providing essential education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders and various treatment modalities, encouraging active participation in the healing process.

• Continuously monitoring clients' progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure the highest level of care.

• Working in close coordination with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, fostering integrated care to address both psychiatric and psychological needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the capacity to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.

• A strong history of successful outcomes in treating mood disorders, demonstrating clinical effectiveness and dedication to client wellness.

Compensation and Benefits\n
